Jennifer Cohen Katz is a registered dietitian with a passion for helping people find creative solutions for their healthy eating challenges. She enjoys working with individuals, groups or families in the areas of general nutrition for wellness, weight loss/gain, vegetarian/vegan diet, cardiovascular nutrition, children’s nutrition, and cooking skills and meal planning for healthy eating.

She has a varied list of experience related to the field of nutrition which includes clinical nutrition at Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, MD and research nutrition at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. She was a nutrition course instructor for culinary art students. She managed the nutritional care of residents in nursing homes and oversaw the food service operations there. Her cooking and restaurant consulting experience includes restaurants in Baltimore, Virginia, and Washington, DC.

Jennifer holds a B.S. degree in dietetics from Hood College and a certificate in professional culinary arts from Baltimore’s International College. She is a registered dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association. She is licensed to practice as a dietitian/nutritionist by the Maryland Board of Dietetic Practice. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association, Maryland Dietetic Association, the Food & Culinary Professionals Dietetic Practice Group, and the Nutrition Entrepreneurs Dietetic Practice Group.
